Step into the celebrated and storied past with the Telluride Historical Museum at this year’s Telluride Jazz Festival! The Historical Museum will host a Historical Walking Tour on Saturday morning, August 4, allowing Patrons to explore the unique history of the charming town. In addition, the Museum offers free admission to the museum for festival pass-holders throughout the festival weekend.
Piggybacking off of a longstanding New Orleans tradition, the Telluride Jazz Festival is excited to once again present the New Orleans 2nd Line Parade! This year’s parade will kick-off at noon on Sunday, August 5 from Elks Park and feature No BS! Brass Band and Hooligan Brass Band.
Kick off the 2018 Telluride Jazz Festival in style with the new Jazz Art Walk! The Jazz Art Walk will take place from Thursday, August 2, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the heart of historic downtown Telluride. Held in collaboration with the Telluride Arts District’s "First Thursdays Art Walk", the event will feature over 20 exhibits highlighted by five official Jazz Art Walk galleries.

Returning for the second year, Festival organizers and the Telluride Society for Jazz have partnered again with the Telluride Academy and Caleb Chapman's Soundhouse to produce the week-long music education and outdoor adventure academy for students leading up to the 42nd Telluride Jazz Festival.

With a $200 savings on the regular-priced Patron Experience Pass, Early Bird Passes offer the highest value of all festival passes and are available extremely limited quantities. In addition, a portion of the ticket cost, $200, benefits the Telluride Society for Jazz and can be deducted on 2017 income taxes as a charitable contribution.
